David was a founding member of Kibbutz Lotan, where he lived and worked for almost twenty years. As General Manager of the Kibbutz and Director of the Lotan Seminar Center he was at the forefront of developing new business initiatives that built on the ideological commitment of the community and it's unique environmental surroundings. Upon moving to the U.S, David continued to promote and launch cross-cultural initiatives and was the founding Manager of MISTI MIT-Israel. David has a B.A in Economics and Management from the Open University/Ben Gurion University and an MEd in Jewish Education from Hebrew College. He has published articles and received awards for his work on intercultural relations, most recently the MIT Excellence Award for Advancing Inclusion and Global Perspectives.
David serves as Managing Director of the MIT-Israel and MIT-MEET programs and as the Assistant Director of MISTI.
David is married to Alisa and has two sons, Aviv and Liel.
