The MIT-Argentina - City of Buenos Aires Seed Fund supports new collaborations between faculty and research scientists at MIT and their counterparts at universities in the City of Buenos Aires.

The 2016-2017 GSF grant cycle closed September 19, 2016. We will launch our call for The 2017-18 grant cycle in May 2017.

Through an annual call for proposals, the fund primarily supports travel costs for exchange between a team at MIT and colleagues at universities in the City of Buenos Aires. The Argentinian colleague(s) must be identified in the proposal.

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • propose a balanced exchange between the MIT and Argentinian participants
  • demonstrate complementarity between the MIT and Argentinian teams
  • include student participation

The MIT-Argentina - City of Buenos Aires Seed Fund is a part of MISTI Global Seed Funds. All general MISTI Global Seed Funds criteria, application and evaluation procedures apply.
