Passport

Every student needs a valid passport. If you are a US citizen and need to apply, please contact the passport division of the State Department. Routine service requires 4-6 weeks.

Visa to Kazakhstan

U.S. passport holders need a visa. If you are not a U.S. passport holder, check this list of visa-free countries. Students who need visas will work with the program manager to obtain one.

Flight

Each student flight is booked by the student.

We recommend booking you round-trip flight immediately after confirming the dates of the program with your host and after getting your visa (if you need one).
If you need to change the dates on your ticket, there will be a change fee associated with the date change.

Accommodation

In  most cases housing will be provided by the hosts. In some cases students must arrange for their own housing with assistance from the program manager.
