Like to teach? Would you like to go abroad? Interested in teaching abroad over IAP 2015?

Every student needs a valid passport. If you are a US citizen and need to apply, please contact the passport division of the State Department. Routine service requires 4-6 weeks.

Visa to Mongolia

U.S. passport holders, who travel to Mongolia for up to 90 days, do not need a visa.

If you are not a U.S. passport holder, check this list of countries to see if you need a visa. Students from foreign countries who need a Mongolian visa work with the program manager to obtain one. Processing time usually takes at least 12 business days.

Each student flight is booked by the student.

We recommend booking you round-trip flight immediately after confirming the dates of the program, and getting your visa (if you need one).

If you need to change the dates on your ticket, there will be a change fee associated with the date change.

Housing will be provided by MISTI Mongolia partner universities. In the past we had rooms in a university dorm located in the center of Ulaanbaatar.
