Every student needs a valid passport. If you are a US citizen and need to apply, please contact the passport division of the State Department. Routine service requires 4-6 weeks.

Visa for Uganda

The Program Manager can advise students about the application process, timeline and documents required. See if your country requires an entry visa in Uganda

Most countries, US citizens included, can secure a visa upon arrival at the airport for $100. 


Unless otherwise planned, all students will be staying at the:

Makerere University Flats, 

Makerere Hill Road, Kampala, Uganda.

Which are directly across the street from the Makerere University campus.
