Travel grants are available to MIT Faculty who wish to explore possible collaborations with their Politecnico colleagues and vice versa.

Up to four grants for a sum of $2,500 each may be awarded yearly to MIT faculty and $50,000 are available yearly for Polimi faculty wishing to establish new collaborations or strengthen existing ones. Recipients must make themselves available for meetings with the host institution’s faculty and students to discuss their research and the opportunities for collaboration the Roberto Rocca Project offers. MIT and Polimi faculty wishing to meet with labs hosting their students at Polimi—if from MIT—or at MIT—if from Polimi—are welcome to apply. No deadline.

MIT interested faculty should submit one page application explaining the purpose of the trip and identifying their contacts at Polimi to Dr. Serenella Sferza ssferza@mit.edu.

POLIMI Faculty will be funded directly by POLIMI and should contact progettorocca@polimi.it
