AZ's Story

AZ Krebs interned at EMBRAER and his work centered on developing a state machine for the company’s eVTOL aircraft, a cutting-edge electric vertical takeoff and landing vehicle in development.

"While I’m not able to share specific details about what I worked on, it was still super cool. The overall idea was a state machine for EMBRAER’s eVTOL that is currently in development. Based on current variables my “machine” would help the vehicle transition to the correct state. Working on controls, 2.004 helped immensely with my work as my team used a software I used in the class and the principles I learned allowed me to understand a lot of what was being done."

"It allowed me to work at a prestigious company while gaining valuable career skills and getting to experience Brazil."
