Christina's story

Christina Ding '28 chose to intern in Hong Kong to learn more about the culture and was able to connect with other driven individuals who helped her solidify her career goals.

"At the University of Hong Kong’s Electrical and Electronic Engineering department, I gained exposure to research on wireless communication systems, learning how antenna arrays, beamforming, and channel modeling function. I explored how AI, particularly the A2C algorithm, can optimize complex wireless networks by balancing communication quality with sensing accuracy. I also strengthened my Python programming skills by working with a range of libraries on small tasks that supported the research."

During my MISTI Hong Kong experience, I felt incredibly fortunate to meet new people and explore the vibrant local culture. I loved wandering through different neighborhoods, trying authentic food, and experiencing the city’s unique mix of tradition and modern innovation.
