Russian V was piloted in 2020 with the focus on vocabulary in science and technology.
Dr. Khotimsky plays an active role in the MIT-Russia program by offering training to MIT students traveling to Russia for internships or research. “We are incredibly lucky to have Maria as part of our Russia team at MIT,” said Professor of Russian History, Faculty Co-Director of MIT Russia Elizabeth Wood. “She makes the Russian language come alive. Students are constantly singing her praises. It’s wonderful that she is winning this award.”
