"In Serbia, I worked as a research assistant to a Harvard professor studying refugee movements. In Spain, I was teaching Ukrainian high-school students classes in bioengineering and communication. My most tangible outcome would be the results of my research in Serbia, an analysis of 12,000 opinion-based media documents about refugees. This analysis took particular note of how much coverage was devoted to certain refugee nationalities and whether this coverage was positive or negative."
