Meagan's Story
Meagan (Biological Engineering, '24) interned in Barcelona, Spain at the Centre for Genomic Regulation (CRG), where she studied non-genetic variation in aging via genetic manipulation of C. elegans worms.
"I learned that I can adapt to novel situations without relying on others, and that I enjoy experiencing other cultures from within. This has inspired me to travel more and really immerse myself within the culture, and to improve my Spanish skills. It has encouraged me for future endeavors where I may be thrown into a new environment with new people, such as my eventual goal of medical school."Meagan Rowlett '24
