Osmond's story

Osmond Chung '27, a biology major, explored another facet of biological research when working at the Li Yu Lab at Tsinghua University. The internship helped shape what he would want to pursue after graduating.

"For my internship project, I analyzed VEGFR expression in two different cell strains, L929 and primary mouse lung fibroblasts. I cultured the cells, plated them, stained them, and then visualized them with confocal microscopes."
