Sherry's Story

Graduate student Sherry Lin SM '23, interned in Lithuania with Trafi to develop mobility-as-a-service (MaaS) applications, over the summer of 2023.

"I worked on developing strategies and business cases of a new sustainable mobility feature. I contributed especially around the research on relevant supporting legislations and comparison of existing similar offerings. The host company used this information in their sales pitch and to form go to market strategies. Also, I acquired new knowledge in the sustainable mobility domain, especially around EU green deal and European competitive landscape."

The impact of MISTI goes way beyond the summer experience. The opportunity to work, travel, and actually live in a foreign country changed my world view. It not only prepared me well for my full-time consulting job but also exposed me to a work philosophy very different from those I experienced in Asia and in the US.
