"I used the CAD, programming, and Arduino knowledge I gained at MIT over this year, and I continued to build upon them. My experience was great, everyone is very open, friendly, and amicable."
Fernando Oliver Mediavilla interned at Centro de Investigación en Ciencia Aplicada y Tecnología Avanzada (CICATA) at the Laboratorio de Aprovechamiento de Energía, where he worked on blade-less wind turbines, redesigning the entire prototype with the intent of changing the degree of freedom from horizontal to vertical, using magnets to facilitate oscillations, and minimizing weight.
