MISTI will reimburse you up to $1,200 on economy class. You will be responsible for any amount over $1,200.
You may fly from anywhere, on any route, barring MIT High Risk Countries. This includes connections.
For example, if you are going home to California before flying to Bahrain, your R/T ticket may be: California to Bahrain to Boston
To be fully reimbursed, you must complete the google that the Program Coordinator will send the group.
You may buy your ticket from any website (Kayak, hipmunk, Google flights, airline sites, etc.)
Flights should land at Bahrain International Airport (BAH)
Remember: Try to land in the morning/afternoon, in order to get to your lodging before business hours end in Bahrain (unless you have relatives/friends you are staying with, etc.)
Once you book your flight you must enter all the flight information in the MIT Travel Registry. If you changed your flight you must update the information accordingly.
