Hayashi-ULVAC MISTI Seed Fund

Through an annual call for proposals, the Hayashi-ULVAC MISTI Seed Fund primarily supports travel costs for exchange between a team at MIT and colleagues in universities and public research in Japan. Priority will also be given to projects in science and engineering.

All general Global Seed Funds criteria, application, and evaluation procedures apply.

$30,000

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • present a balanced exchange between the participants
  • demonstrate complementarity between the teams
  • involve undergraduate and graduate students
