Upcoming event: Mexico’s African Heritage, Fall 2021 – date TBD

The MIT Africa and Mexico programs at MISTI are excited to be announcing an upcoming event exploring Mexico’s African heritage. At times referred to as a “people erased from history,” many Mexicans today are exploring their Afro-Mexican heritage and researchers are uncovering elements of Mexican culture with African origins. We are excited to bring a rich discussion on this important but little known topic to the MIT community.
