Rachel was born and raised in the Boston area and has spent time living in California, South Africa and Israel. After graduating high school, Rachel took a gap year and lived in Jerusalem studying Hebrew and Arabic. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and History from Connecticut College and a Master’s degree in Education from Lesley University. Rachel began her career in international education working at Education First planning international trips for high school students. She also spent a year as a freelance travel writer and has been lucky enough to travel to over 30 countries. In her free time Rachel enjoys hiking, kayaking, gardening and spending time with her 1-year-old daughter.
