AI Summer 2025 Photo/Video Contest Winner

Arthur De Los Santos '26, a computer science and engineering major, shares his experience abroad in Japan through his work in artificial intelligence. He worked at Telexistence Inc. in Tokyo, Japan, which develops autonomous robots to address challenges in retail stores and warehouse logistics.

"Atop Kyoto's Mount Inari, I saw a city where centuries-old traditions live alongside cutting-edge innovation. My work in AI-driven robotics at Telexistence Inc. reflected this same truth: that the past and future are not opposites, but partners. As AI shapes our world, its success will depend on weaving history’s wisdom into tomorrow’s breakthroughs. Thank you, MIT-Japan and Telexistence, for this amazing experience."
