Meredith's Internship at Twelve Bio in Denmark
Meredith Arterburn '24, biology major and finance minor, spent the summer of 2022 interning at Twelve Bio, a biotech startup based in the BioInnovation Institute in Copenhagen, Denmark.
"As part of the Cell Biology team, I helped asses the editing capabilities of many different variant proteins designed by others in the company. I tested this in mammalian cells in the lab. I am so grateful for my time in Denmark. I grew so much as a person from navigating being abroad and gained so much experience in the lab during my internship. I feel more confident in myself and my abilities from this experience, and I loved getting to explore so much of Europe during my time abroad."
