Semiconductor Solutions for MIT Math-Computer engineer

SCREEN specializes in creating semiconductor production equipment. As SCREEN focuses on semiconductor production equipment one of the machines they design is a wafer cleaning machine. My project focused on designing a computer program that could look at wafer cleaning schedules for this machine and determine whether it was a good schedule or not. To accomplish this I designed, and trained a neural network that could classify these schedules. I would definitely recommend SCREEN for other MISTI interns. Everyone in the workplace was very friendly, and excited to meet me. My mentor checked in with me everyday to make everything was going smoothly with work. The HR department was also very involved in our stay in Japan. They organized our apartment housing so we could easily commute to work and even invited us to several festivals with them.
