Mujin Japan Info Session

Mujin started in 2011 in Tokyo, with founding members from MIT, CMU, Japan, USA, and China. Since their humble beginnings from a bike garage (40 sqm), they've grown to Tokyo's largest robotics lab (14,000 sqm) through the Beaver spirit of innovation and focus on quality. Mujin helped China's e-commerce giant JD.com build the world's first fully automated logistics warehouse in 2017, and now is partnered with firms like Uniqlo, Accenture, and others to automate logistics and manufacturing around the world. Mujin is still the first startup company to win the most prestigious robotics award given by the Japanese government. They're an international and diverse team, with roboticists coming from leading universities such as MIT, CMU, Stanford, Berkeley, Tokyo University, Peking University, ENS, and others.

With over 600 deployments across the globe using cutting-edge computer vision, Mujin recently expanded in the Atlanta area to focus on the North American market.

This presentation will tell the Mujin story including our technology, and the realities of working in Japan. If you'd like to know more about one of the most exciting global robotics firms, or just understand more about the job market for engineers in Tokyo, please come by and share your questions.
