Gabriela is originally from Puerto Rico. She holds a bachelor’s degree from Harvard University in Latin American Studies with a minor in Linguistics and a master’s degree in Education with a focus on Teaching English as a Second Language from the University of Puerto Rico. During her time at Harvard, she had the opportunity to travel abroad for the first time to study at the University of Cambridge in England. After graduating, she spent a year in Madrid, Spain as an English Teaching Assistant, where she fell in love with working with students from diverse backgrounds. Before joining MISTI, Gabriela worked at Berklee College of Music supporting their international programs across Latin America and Europe.
