The GSF Application is now closed. Winners will be announced in early May. 

MIT-Armenia Seed Fund

Through an annual call for proposals, the fund supports new collaborations between faculty and students at MIT and their counterparts in universities and research institutions across Armenia.

The goals of the MIT-Armenia Fund are:

  • To significantly increase collaboration opportunities between Armenian stakeholders and MIT partners in a measurable way
  • To increase the visibility of Armenian higher education and research among faculty, researchers, and students at MIT and vice versa
  • To build a strong community of scientific leaders at MIT and in Armenia with mutual ties that will lead to long-term collaboration

All general Global Seed Funds criteria, application, and evaluation procedures apply.

Priority will be given to projects that:

  • propose a balanced exchange between the two teams
  • demonstrate complementarity between the two teams
  • involve undergraduate and graduate students
