Seed funds for the Czech Republic promote cutting-edge research collaborations and help to deepen partnerships between MIT faculty and researchers and their Czech counterparts.

Launched in 2021, the MIT-Czech Republic Seed Fund is a new joint project of MISTI, the Czech Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Biochemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences (IOCB Prague), with the IOCB Prague subsidiary IOCB Tech providing funding.
Through an annual call for proposals, the fund promotes the exchange between faculty and students at MIT and at member research institutions of the Czech Academy of Sciences and all universities in the Czech Republic.
The fund is open to all disciplines.
